3 Things Affiliate Marketers Should Do For Survival Online

All affiliate marketers are always looking for the most successful market or niche, the one or ones that give the greatest possible rewards. It is often thought that there is some or other magic formula that is readily available for them, and they waste hours, days, week, months, even years, in search of the Holy Grail of affiliate marketing. The harsh reality of it is that it is more complicated than that, much more complicated. That Holy Grail is down to good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.

Simple as that

There are strategies that have worked before with Internet marketing and are continuing to work in the Internet affiliate marketing world of today, and likely will for some time yet. Armed with these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your online visibility, sales, and get the best opportunity to survive in the affiliate marketing areas online.

So just what are the 3 strategies?

First, use unique web pages for promoting each individual product line that you are marketing. Do not go lumping all of it together just so that you can save some money on your web host. It is false economy and far better to have a site focusing on each and every product individually, and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on your website or blog so that to begin with visitors will have an initial understanding about what the product can do for the benefit of those who invest in them. Also include all feedback and testimonials from buyers and users who have already tried the product. Ensure that the customers are more than willing to permit you to use their names and hopefully photographs too, on the page of the specific product you are marketing. Sometime they will expect you to allow publication of their website URL too

You can also write articles highlighting the use or uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

Second, incentivize your offer with a free report or guides to your readers. Positioning them uppermost on your page will ensure the maximum chance of it being seen. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign-up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect, but this can vary depending on several aspects, such as niche, and even the mood of your subscriber at time they receive your email !

Only one of two things can possibly occur with the web page itself: you have a closed sale, or, the prospect leaving the page never to return again. By keeping them informed with content that will encourage them to take action, sent periodically into their inboxes, you will be able to remind them of the products they thought they would like later and reminding them will serve to prompt… a sale, one hopes. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. The key is, not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points that will benefit them, for example, how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Embellish your subject lines for each email title. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dump that kind of content straight into the junk box, before even anyone reading them first. Gently encourage those who signed up for your free reports that they could be missing out on something rather cool if they choose to miss out on your affiliate products and services.

Third, attract the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Writing articles for publication in e-zines, guest blogging, e-reports, and so on should be focused. This way you can locate publications that are focusing on your specifically target customers and that is what gives you the best chance of grabbing their interest.

There’s no set amount as to how much you should publish, but as a minimum I would suggest 2 articles per week, of at least 600 words in each. By continuously writing and maintaining a steady flow of these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your affiliate site in a day.

Be mindful that perhaps only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your affiliate product or get your services. If you can produce as many as one thousand targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made ten sales based on average stats.
The tactics given above may sound very difficult to do if you’re unused to creating the kind of platform and deliver that is required for getting interest, and sales, in your affiliate products, but if you think about it. It just requires a little time and action on your part.
Keeps the rewards in your mind’s eye!

Try to implement these ideas into all your affiliate marketing strategies and programs. It is quite possible to maintain a good source of income and survival in a business that not all Internet marketers can or will do.

Importantly, think about how your aff product can and will benefit others, advise them how, and the income will take care of itself.
